The Midnight’s Portrait
I came out thus late this time
under the bright mid-night sky.
The stars above me played around,
and the moonlight kissed the ground.
The breezy air tuned its symphony,
and the leaves danced in ecstasy.
There the laughter of sister flowers
mingled with the precious hours.
Then I heard a baby’s cry;
sweetened by a mother’s lullaby.
And I closed the eyes of mine,
slept in the paradise of time.
